Programme: An Introduction to the NHS and UK PHC

In May ‘23 we ran a five-day ‘introduction to UK PHC & the NHS’ programme for forty members of Unimed R/S in Brazil. This was delivered in partnership with our Brazilan colleagues at Hygeia and CCM, and included classroom sessions based at the Royal Society of Medicine in the mornings and health institution visits in the afternoons. At this moment, I want to thank the entire organisation for the time we were in London, we were feeling at home, feeling safe, and being able to effectively enjoy all the content. This was the most useful experience among all the overseas missions I have undertook so far, because it showed an NHS with different ideas from what we work with here.
